The Christian Education Ministry shall be responsible for the Organization, Administration, and supervision of all ministries of the church.

They shall be responsible for:

• Developing and interpreting to the church body the Educational Objectives, Goals, and Plans.

• Studying the educational needs of the church and devising proposals concerning time frames, educational use of housing and equipment, and the addition, revision or elimination of classes or ministries;

• Discovering, Enlisting, Training, and appointing all church educational workers: including a background check.

• Coordinating and approving the outreach program of the groups and ministries under its responsibilities.

• Evaluating, Determining, and Managing the curriculum of the educational program;

• Preparing the educational budget of the church and submitting the same to the Budget Committee.

Through guidance of the Holy Spirit, are to provide hope, love and encouragement where our Members will seek the Salvation of Christ and present their lives as a living sacrifice.

What do we mean by the word “missionary”? At the most basic level, a missionary is someone who has been sent.  That’s what the word “mission” entails.

As Missionaries we will continue to remind and encouragement others to stay the course and keep doing the good work they are doing.

We will aim with our mission’s budget to support missionaries who have for their goals; development programs, and initiatives design to work for human flourishing.

Missionaries must be first and foremost people of the word.  We must know it, believe it, announce it, and teach it.  That’s why we go.  That’s why we send.  For how will we call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard?  And how are they to hear without someone preaching?  And how are they to preach unless they are sent.  Roman 10:14-15

Mission

 The mission of the Youth Ministry is to nurture, educate, and train the youth of Hickory Hill by exposing them to the biblical principles of God’s holy word; to teach our youth of the ways of Jesus Christ; to promote Christian character and growth and to encourage youth to discover and use their spiritual gifts to glorify God.

 

Scope

The Youth Ministry embraces the mission of the Church as an integral part of the Christian Education Ministry.  Its outreach includes: Children’s Church, Youth Sunday, Youth Bible Study, Glorious Voices of Praise Choir, Praise Dance Ministry, and all other church programs involving youth participation.
